This paper concentrates on the connection ending "-killae" that is widely used to express causes or reasons in oral Korean, and not only revealed its feature of Semantics and Syntax, but also studied its functions in aspect of pragmatic discourse. Firstly, the research started from its formation, negated the viewpoint that "-killae" is separated from "-kie" in the previous research, but proposed that "-killae" applied in the spoken language came as a corresponding supplement of "-kie". Any grammatical forms generate meanings first, then form the syntactic context according to significances. Therefore, the paper spreads out analytical research about syntactic characteristic of the connection ending "-killae" from its significance, and chooses example sentences appeared in related Korean dictionary and Korean language teaching materials to be study materials. Any a word, phrase or sentence, aside from the abstract senses themselves, also has communicative value, namely function of discourse in specific context. The discourse contextual analysis of the connection ending "-killae" reveals its discourse functions in different contexts, which was studied by adopting quality analysis and using TV drama scripts, network information and other abundant materials of spoken language collected before. Under the influence of some factors in specific context, the connection ending"-killae" displayed allegation, inquisition, reprobation and other functions based on the discourse function about reason illustration. It will be easier to understand and analyze its meaning when we mastered the discourse functions of the connection ending "-killae" in specific context. And we can refine its basic meaning from its basic discourse function.
