Generally speaking,folk beliefs is the belief in the general populationg of society.It profoundly reflects the ideas at the time by social and cultural.It is an important aspect to study social life.This paper takes the folk beliefs of Central Plains in Jin dynasty as the study object,based on the folk story in the book of Xuyijianzhi and inscription or Miu Kee in the book of Quanjinwen.By statistics, analysis and induction of the related matieral,author wants to show the basic situation,characteristic and causes of the folk beliefs in that time.Then,author also investigates the relationship between the folk beliefs and the formal religion,so that we can reach a much deeper understanding of the above-mentioned problems.According to the different source of matieral,this paper divided into two sections.The first section takes Xuyijianzhi as the main study object;the second section takes the inscription and Miu Kee in the book of Quanjinwen as the main study object,to comprehensively relect the main idear of this paper.The first section divded into two chapter.The first chapter named the folk beliefs of Jin showed in the book of Xuyijianzhi.First,author introduces the book,including the life of the author,the process of the formation of the book,the main content and the value of the book.All of this is aimed to explain why author takes this book as the main object to study the folk beliefs of Jin. The following part discusses the folk beliefs of Jin showed in this book.Because of the chatacter of this book,it can deeply relect the original folk beliefs of Jin.So,we shuld pay attention to the religion showed in this book.This paper especially investigates four kinds of folk beliefs.They are reincarnation,fox superstition,Jupiter evasive and Fu Kei divination.These four kinds of folk beliefs apper many times in the book and the related stories are also representative,so it can be treated as systematic records.In addition,author also cites the names of Gods and temples appering in the book to see the popular Gods religions.The second chapter named analysis of folk beliefs of Jin showed in the book of Xuyijianzhi.This is a deeper discuss based on the first chapter.First,according to the basic situation described in the first chapter,author analyses the relationship between the folk beliefs of Jin and the traditional folk beliefs.Then,analyses the impact of this folk beliefs.In the opinon of this paper,the relationship between the folk beliefs of Jin and the traditional folk beliefs are inheriting,breaking through and reversing.However,the inheriting is the main relationship.The folk beliefs of Jin promoted the integration of Buddhism and the original traditional culture.It is an essential part of the chain of Chinese folk beliefs.The following is a summary of the first section..The second section divided into five chapters.The first chapter named the folk beliefs Gods and temples showed in the inscreption and Miu kee of the book named Quanjinwen.Briefly narrating the kind, quantity and appearing frequncy of folk beliefs Gods and temples,so that to see the basic situation of folk beliefs of Jin.The second chapter named Gods to people,the Gods's efficacious track.The inscription and Miu kee are mostly aimed to record the efficacious track of Gods.Because of the specific contents,we can easily find out the efficacious track of Gods of folk beliefs of Jin.These efficacious track of Gods including blessing grain harvest,blessing peoples' healthy,blessing peace and prosperity and blessing decendants.All these are closely related to the real life of the people of Jin.The third chapter named people to the Gods,the building of the temple. If we say that the second chapter is about Gods' behavior,then the third chapter is about people's behavior,that is to build the temples.In general,according to the different source of the founds used to build temples,the temples divided into two kinds.One is build by the ordinary people,the another is build by the government.In fact,many of them are build both by the ordinary people and the government.The fourth chapter named the characteristic of folk beliefs of Jin.In the terms of the source, the Gods of folk beliefs of Jin is mainly inherited from the traditional folk beliefs.In the terms of the efficacious track of Gods, it falls behind of Nansong dynasity.Because the efficacious track of Gods of folk beliefs of Nansong is invovled into commercial fields,but this situation didn't occur in Jin.The fifth chapter named the relationship between the folk beliefs of Jin and the formal religion including Buddhism,Taoism,Shamanism and the traditional culture of Confucian.Except for Shamanism,the relationship are all very close.They are interacting and fusioning.The following is a summary of the second section.At the last is the summary of the article.According to analysing the folk beliefs of Jin showed in the two kinds of material,comprehensively discuss the situation of the folk beliefs of Jin.
