Xingxian Phonetic Study

Xingxian is located in northwest of Shanxi Province,and in the north of Lv liang city. It is on the east of Kelan, south of Lin county, Fangshan,north of Baode, and to the west of Shenmu which is in Shanxi Province by the yellow river. Xingxian dialect belongs to Lv liang Region of Jin Dialect. Xingxian dialect belongs to the transitional area of the Lv liang Region of Jin dialect and Wutai Region of Jin dialect,which has obvious characteristics.There are several books investigate the Xingxian dialect as singles Pot, for example, the Part of Dialect in the Xingxian county Annals had depieted at large the Xingxian dialect systematieally. Berllliard Karlgren researched Xingxian dialect and reeorded the Pronunciation of about 1300 characters,which were included in his work etudes sur la Phonologie Chinoise.Except for these, the others almost treat the Xingxian dialect as a constitutive segment, and they also mentioned the exemplification of the Xingxian's phenomenon when they work over the whole Jin dialect, so the investigation to the Xingxian dialect itself lack the integrality and systemic.However, until now, there has not been a systematic reseach on phonology of the Xingxian dialact. The study on Xingxian dialect focus on existing ones without history study.It is the first time to study it for hundreds years.In the light of the reorganization of the historical materials and the researeh of the reality, I reeord and analysis the Phonetic of Xingxian dialect carefully. As to the researeh of Xingxian dialect, it can not only study the regulations of Lv Hang Region of Jin Dialect but see the effected degree of mandarin compared with other dialects.Meanwhile, form the diachoronic view, approaches a subjeet from Xingxian accent and its changing direction, which enriches the researehes about the history of Jin dialect to a certain extent.This article constitutes by six parts, respectively is:the introduction, phonology,sandhi, er varied rhyme,the r-coloured vowel, the collection of the same pronunciation words,the contrast of the sound in today and one hunrund years ago and the difference between literal and colloquial readings.
