| Morandi's etchings in the history of graphic art occupy an important position and plays a unique artistic charm. In this paper, has analyzed the formative processes of Morandi's idea through the brief introduction of Morandi's art life, as well as the cubism picture faction, the metaphysical painting school, and Cezanne and other painting school and painters artistic concepts's influence over him. Morandi's etchings can be divided into Still Life etchings, and two kinds of landscape etchings. According to their characteristics in different periods of art and style into their creative art of etching off period, during exploration of the development, maturation and stability during the three historical periods, respectively, of the comparison, analysis and research.
