During market economy period, Chinese many, trade brands old brands have missed a lot of golden opportunities in modern society due to backward promotion concept and brand awareness. The market is changing and old brands enter into new markets and a lot of problems appear which can't satisfy diverse customers'needs. On the other hand, many old brands can't maintain their customers and original brand advantages. Market, customers and brand present new demands from old brands, especially some of the traditional brand.To solve these problems, this paper analyzes the status quo of old brand and discusses the meaning and redesigning of old brands. The author hopes to provide her own effort in revitalizing old Chinese brands. In designing the old Chinese brands, we must conduct ample researches about market and customers; find the link between visual image and customer's emotion. Hopes to redesign the old mark research, promote traditional Chinese brand and corporate mark design, image design a range of topics such as thinking, to the revitalization of China's old mark of contributing to the road.
