Linqu, Shandong Dialect Research

Shandong dialect is one of northern dialects.The dialects of Shandong belong to Jiliao Mandarin,Zhongyuan Mandarin and Jiaoliao Mandarin,three different communities. According to the differences in pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar,Shandong dialects are divided into Eastern District and Western District, two large areas;Westqi District ,Westlu District,Eastwei District and Donglai District, 4 small districts by Qian Zengyi and Gao Wenda.Linqu dialect belongs to East wei District.Linqu dialect is generally described in the Local Gazetteer of Linqu. In this paper, the auther researches Linqu Dialect with the methors of investigation, description, comparative analysis from synchronic and diachronic perspectives.Through a comprehensive system Survey,the basic features of Linqu Dialect in pronunciation is described.The survey is based mainly on Dialect Character table of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. the paper is divided into seven parts. The first is the Preface.It describes the basic situation of geography, history,population and dialect of Linqu.The second is phonetic system of Linqu described from consonants,vowels,tones and the relations of them.The third describes Linqu Dialect changes in tone,the neutral tone,erhua,combination tone,assimilation and dissimilation.The fourth is the comparison between the phonetic system of Linqu dialect and the phonetic system of Mid Ages.The fifthth is the phonetic system comparison between Linqu dialect and common language.The sixth chapter is a homophone table. The end is the seventh part.
