The Criminals Individual Transformation Personality Remodeling Model

Along with the proposal of the"Prime Standards"and the strategic shift of the focus of prison work, the task of rehabilitating prisoners into self-supporting and law-abiding citizens who are useful to the building of Socialism has become the core of prison work. Since 2005, many large-scale and relatively large-scale prisons throughout the country are trying out personalized correction on prisoners, and after 6 years of innovation and development, they have made remarkable achievements. Through research and study, I think that the unique method of study, the standardized correction reports and the detailed and accurate case studies of personalized correction are the results of outstanding police officers working diligently at the leading edge of disciplinary and supervising work. However, there is no doubt that any method or model is not without flaws. The current personalized correction of prisoners has inevitably some limitations and shortcomings. With the rapid development of the building of the country's legal system and prison work, in addition to the lack of studies in the fundamental theories of personalized correction in recent years, its lagging behind in actual rehabilitation has become increasingly obvious. In view of this, this article proposes a rebuilding of personality as the core of a new model of personalized correction from a new philosophical perspective, in order to achieve integration and transcendence over current personalized correction model.For many prisons in the country who have implemented the personalized correction model of prisoners, this article bases on the summary of past experiences and introduces the relevant achievements of personality psychology, and by referring to contents of the theory of different causes of crimes and personalized correction, it hopes to make up for the insufficiencies of the present theory of personalized correction, so as to achieve integration and transcendence over current personalized correction model. The rebuilding of personality is a new model in prisons'personalized correction of prisoners. It develops itself from the relevant theory of personality study and combines with individual correction techniques applied to supervision and correction in practice. Its purpose is to enable prisoners to fully recognize the abilities within themselves, to exercise their potentials, to perfect individual personality and to enhance their abilities to adapt to the environment and to resolve problems through the rebuilding of their personalities, in order to achieve the objectives of the successful return of prisoners into the society and the prevention of recidivism.
