Research On Personal Information Protection In Large Data Environment

There is no doubt that big data has been a hot topic. When people enjoy the convenience brought by big data, they also face the threat of personal information security. And the blank of legislation, the lack of industry’s self-discipline, the lag of technology of information security and the weakness of personal information protection consciousness exacerbate the personal information infringement. Therefore, it’s imperative to understand the problems and dilemma of personal information protection in big data environment comprehensively and to solve these problems.Based on the existing related books and literatures, this paper firstly analyzes the characteristics and connotation of big data and determines the scope of personal information protection. Then this paper describes the current security situation and protection dilemma of personal information. Finally this paper determines the principles of personal information protection, and proposes to follow up relevant laws and administrative supervision, strengthen self-discipline and safety input, improve the big data security protection technology and the users’ information security literacy to protect personal information effectively under the big data environment.
