In the 21 st century, the rapid development of China’s aging population, Beijing compared to other regions, the situation is more serious. Aging is an inevitable product of social development, while also brought some impact on economic development, mainly include: making the elderly dependency ratio rises, increase the burden on society; a huge impact to the existing pension system, with the elderly population growth, will result in increased pension expenses, while reducing the number of working-age population makes the supply of pension to decline, enabling the country to increase investment, which gave the pension system to bring pressure; aging population makes the working-age population decrease, there will be the shortage of labor effective supply. In social development, people are the most fundamental elements, if the labor supply shortage occurs, will be a huge negative impact on economic development. Compared with rural elderly, the urban elderly engage in labor at different times, the rural elderly do not have retirement concept, we study was the urban elderly population.Re-employment for older persons is the primary means for achieving worthiness, and it is also the main method to deal with an aging population and relieve labor shortages. With the enhancement of life expectancy and health status of the population, the growing number of elderly wants to be obtained certain economic income through the re-employment after they retired. The existing retirement system makes them leave their jobs prematurely. The higher the education level, the more people work shorter hours, it will cause a great waste of human resources, is not conducive to solving the problem of an excessive burden on society. Older is not better in the physical aspects of young people, but in terms of experience, knowledge and other have advantages, to take full advantage of the elderly to achieve worthiness. And the majority of the existing studies show there is no competition between the older and younger alternative employment, coupled with the elderly has its own unique experience of human resources and capital resources in the development of the elderly in the context of aging and promote their employment seems justified.In this paper, mainly in Beijing sixth census data as the basis, the integrated use of economics, management, sociology, etc, the research now again obtain employment problems and countermeasures in the elderly. When considering the re-employment of older issues that need attention: the elderly who are more suitable for re-employment; re-employment should be provided for the elderly which support; re-employment of older persons in economic and social impact, especially in the urban elderly. Actual, proposed measures to promote the re-employment of older people, to deal with an aging population, to achieve economic steady, and sustainable development.
