A Study On The Countermeasures Of Perfecting Community Correction System From The Perspective Of Political Participation

The decision of the CPC Central Committee on deepening the reform of some major issues released by The Party’s eighteen plenary session pointed that we should perfect the legal punishment and correction of illegal acts and crimes, and improve the system of community correction. As a new thing, the study of community correction in the process of regulatory issues become particularly important. From the top-level design, the national level also needs to study the related system and Practice. From the perspective of folk, the broad masses of the people also need to improve and enhance the community correction mode to construct a harmonious community.This paper take the question of expanding community of citizen political participation, social worker team construction of community correction, adjusting the management mechanism the function of community correction as the breakthrough point. These studies will help to better adhere to and perfect the community correction system of China characteristics, meet people’s need for social harmony and stability and justice demand, which helps strengthen the social management and innovation.This thesis is divided into four chapters.Chapter 1 is mainly about the introduction to the basic concepts of the theory of community correction, the theory of political participation. Chapter 2 explores how political participation theory is applied to the practice of community correction of Chinese. Chapter 3 take H County in S community as the example,and find out the problems and reasons of community correction. Chapter 4, combined with the experience of foreign countries, put forward a series of countermeasures to perfect the community correction system.
