Research On Evidence-based Corrections In Community Corrections Of China

Evidence-based corrections began in the field of community corrections abroad,and because of following the best research evidence in practice,considering the reasonable demand of corrective object,combined with the practical experience of the correcting workers,thus it achieved good correction effective and gradually became the mainstream of the foreign community corrections model.After several decades of development of the evidence-based corrections,on the one hand,it carries out a number of advanced theoretical exploration exploration,which provide the system guarantee for the development of evidence-based corrections;On the other hand,the evidence-based corrections has accumulated rich practical experience,which provide technical support for the carrying out the evidence-based corrections.In our country,the evidence-based corrections in community corrections has been effective after several years of pilot,such as the process of correction,the techniques of correction and the project of correction.Of course,it's still difficult to meet the needs of community corrections in our country.Therefore,our country should learn from the advanced theoretical results and practical experience of the evidence-based corrections in the foreign community corrections.Considering the reality of our country,take measures to improve the system of evidence-based corrections,which consists of building evidence-based corrections system,localization of foreign advanced experience,construction of information exchange mechanism,implementation of a thorough evidence-based corrections,construction of the professionals evidence-based corrections talent,development of targeted corrective projects,development of the assessment tools,establishment of the evidence-based database.The paper includes five chapters.The first chapter,by combing the origin and development of evidence-based corrections,expounds the related concepts of evidence-based corrections,and then analyzes the unique value of evidence-based corrections.The second chapter discusses the necessity and practical needs of carrying out the evidence-based corrections in our community corrections.The third chapter introduces the current situation of evidence-based corrections in our community corrections and summarizes the existing problems in the evidence-based practice.In the fourth chapter,it introduces the evidence-based corrections of the foreign community corrections and summarizes the successful experience.The fifth chapter,combined with the advanced experience of foreign countries to analyze the revelation to the improvement of our evidence-based corrections,and put forward some suggestions to improve the evidencebased corrections system in our community corrections.
