Research On Governmental Microblogging And Good Governance

Achieving good governance of government is the overall goal of managing state affairs and ruling the country for the Chinese government in the new era. It is also the concentrated reflection of political democracy, economic development and social harmony. Government microblogs can promote the information disclosure, help solve problems and enhance the understanding and consultation between government and citizens, thus becoming a new means of good governance of government in the We-media era. This article takes the Shanghaicity, a famous government microblog as subject investigated, uses the theory of "good governance", analyzes the successful experience as well as the existing drawbacks of Shanghaicity and combines the ways of operation, management and construction of microblogs in countries such as England and America. The goal is to make some proposals for the development of Shanghaicity.
