A Study On The Government 's Credibility In The Big Data Age

With the coming of the era of mega data, there have been major changes in the media and the society, causing a significant challenge to the government’s credibility. Many media-related companies have gotten great self-improvement benefiting from mega data.The government as a social management should pay more attention to and make full use of mega data to enhance its credibility.But on the study of government credibility, the most intuitive, convincing conclusion lies in the intervention of emergency processing. The government crisis management is the management of sudden crisis as of its related activities, whose priority is to increase treatment capacity before and after the crisis, and the ability to foresee the reaction control. Thus to deal with the crisis, to restore normal order effectively and on time. As manager of public affairs, it is the government’s obligation to control the chain reaction caused by unexpected event. on the other hand, when the original social order has been destructed and therefore being in a state of chaos, it is only the government can have the legitimacy crisis management and the ability to deal with it. When the government is in the infinite state in crisis management, it is to say that the government is given unlimited power; the unlimited power will also bring new problems in crisis management. So, the government’s response to the crisis management should be moderate. And by the adoption of mega data, the government will be able to handle crisis timely and moderately.This paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter briefly states the research foundation and choroid and summarizes the value of the topic, also the present results and research approaches of government credibility under the mega data era.The second chapter states the influence of mega data inflicted on the government credibility on the basis for its definition and classification.The third chapter analyzes the relationship between the principle of crisis management and the credibility of the government base on the concept, classification and characteristics of public crisis.The fourth chapter combines the present situation of the credibility of the government with the existing problems and explores the data background, main factors affecting the credibility of the government.The fifth chapter focuses on how to enhance the credibility under the mega data, era and discusses on how to avoid the problem of the public trust.The sixth chapter is the summary of the full text. It further deepens the theme, highlighting the argument of this thesis.
