Study On The Purchase Of Home Care Service In Nanhai District Of Foshan City

Recently, Chinese aging problems have become more and more significant.Elderly population along with the senility, empty-nested and disability trend, has further intensified the complexity and gravity of solving the aging problem, so over100 million elderly people are requiring a long-term care in different extent.Nowadays, the traditional family supporting model cannot provide effective guarantee to the elderly, meanwhile, the overall implementation of "Aged-care at Home" services have not come true. In such situation, institutional-aged-care services becomes a pillar solution to the aging problem, which demands vigorous development and improvement. This study aims at describing the elderly living actuality in Nanhai District, Foshan City. At first, the paper is going to analyze the supply and demand of elderly in Nanhai, and then it will figure out the problems and the solutions, which focus on how to improve and enhance the services to meet the multi-needs of the elderly.
