For China,Nepal and India are two South Asia nations who are with unequal power. Although Nepal is only a small nation in the third world and Sino-Nepal relation is not considered as an important bilateral relation to China, Sino-Nepal relation does matters to the stability and development to China and Nepal and also involves the friendship and cooperation between China and India which is a great power in South Asia. Besides, in the context of the Belt and Road, China also need to address the relationship between Nepal and India, it plays a positive part in maintaining border security and peripheral environment of China.This paper, applying methods of literature analysis and historical analysis, aims at analyzing geopolitical environment of the three countries, namely Nepal, China and India on the theory of geopolitics to study the long-standing root causes of Indian factor in Sino-Nepal relation. From the angle of time, this article first looks back to the problems of Sino-Nepal politics, diplomacy, trade and military under Indian influence since diplomatic relation has been officially established in 1995. And then proposes possible suggestions concerning dealing with Indian factors in Sino-Nepal relation and pursing trilateral cooperation.2015 is the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Looking back, remarkable achievements in the area of politic mutual trust, economic and trade exchanges, cultural exchange and security cooperation between China and Nepal have been made. Looking forward, Indian factors must never be ignored in future Sino-Nepal relation because of the "special relation" formed between Nepal and great power India under traditional and realistic connection. India will definitely have an effect on the development of Sino-Nepal relation due to geopolitical and security strategy factors. Yet Nepal will continue to swing between China and India because domestic political disorder and interest issues. In this regard, first of all, we should enhance political mutual trust between China and India, to build a platform for bilateral cooperation; secondly, the construction of economic corridors in Nepal and India, the three countries to achieve interconnection and intercommunication; and finally, to build a common destiny among nations, with full respect for mutual differences, mutual understanding.
