A Study On The Functions Of Local Governments In The Protection Of Historical And Cultural Cities

Historical and cultural cities are the precious heritage of the ancestors, and are the vivid witness of the ancient urban civilization of the Chinese nation. Today, in the process of the modernization of the city, treating the historical buildings well, protecting the cultural resources, expressing their history and culture are the common responsibilities of every local government and all social sectors the community of all walks of life take responsibility for.
