Analysis On The Leisure Life Of Industrial Workers In Small And Medium - Sized Cities And Towns

With the rapid economic development, residents’ living level also in the continuous upgrading. In addition, holiday policies promulgated be the state in recent years, residents are keeping more and more leisure time. And the whole society is greeting the arrival of an age of leisure. Academic research on residents’ leisure theme emerge in an endless stream, from the research of leisure time and leisure society construction to the analysis on the current leisure situation of each group, such as white-collar workers, migrant workers, farmers students and other groups. While, this article will pay attention to the point shift from cities the small towns. In the process of the construction of small towns, small and medium enterprises can be described as is endless, and these enterprises in the largest propo rtion is industrial workers. They are engaged in non farm work, but contrasted with other groups’ life(such as engaged in farm work and production), leisure status has obvious difference. Therefore, the second focus is on industrial workers.In this paper, the analysis of small and medium-sized urban industial workers’ leisure present situation mainly based on Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and Marx’s human comprehensive development theory,and industrial workers of A company, in Zouping County, Shandong Province, as the main research object. This study mainly take interview method, assisted by observation method and questionnaire investigation to collect data to analyze. In this paper, the concept of leisure, leisure time, way of leisure and leisure venues distribution are four dimensions to describe the industrial workers’ leisure status; the focus is on anlaysis of the leisure life satisfaction level in the overall and analyze the difference comparison; finally, the next part is on leisure life of industrial workers influence factors(including limit factors and choice of ways of leisure to consider factors analysis.The study found that, in A company, industrial workers’ situation of leisure performance for leisure cognition is not deep; the understanding of the essence of leisure is fuzzy; industrial workers’ leisure time is not stable, even "8 hours work system" is not completely guaranteed; characteristics of leisure activities is civilians significantly; leisure place is mainly in the family as the center, with the expansion of the scope, fewer and more scarce. Totally speaking, industrial workers in A company, their leisure satisfaction is general, generally concentrated in the 5~6 points, the average score of 6.2 points. And the interna l differences are more obvious, which manifest that male workers’ overall satisfaction higher than women; employee age over 50 years,their satisfaction is highest; junior high school and the following staff satisfaction is highest; and compared with the unmarried and married with children workers, the employee without baby after marriage has highest satisfaction degree; the satisfaction of workers comes from the urban or city is more higher than that of staff from rural; the satisfaction of workers which monthly income in the five thousand and above was highest, and 3 thousands to 5 thousands of workers the minimum. Limit A enterprise industry workers’ leisure life level factors mainly concentrated in "no time", "economic condition limited" and "leisure facilities not perfect" these three factors; and the factors affected employees choose leisure lifestyle has a diversity of characteristics, such as price, convenient degree, safety, distance, is popular social networking and other factors.
