Dalian Ocean Shipping Agency Management Information System To Improve

With the rapid development of information technology, MIS becomes more and move important in an enterprise. This thesis conducted a substantial and practical study on the use of computer and network in enterprise management. It analyzed a sample of China Ocean Shipping co. ltd (which was called PENAVICO Dalian) as a marine service enterprise and concluded a design to improve MIS of the company. After deeply investigation and study and through overall analysis of development progress and application result of the old project of MIS, the author found and concluded the defects of the original system. Depending on the defects and according to the strategy of the company, thinking about the inner and outer factors of the company, the author used the knowledge of marketing, managing and system opinion which he studied during this course, made a total suggestion to the reformation and establishment of the structure. module function business flow and management of the original system, designed the building of PENAVICO web site and the realization of electronic business with the measures on management and training to guarantee the effect of new system. From this thesis we can learn that MIS is vital to an enterprise and lie on the respect of the leaders and the endeavor of the whole enterprise.
