Tourism Resources For Sustainable Use Of Evaluation Research

ABSTRACTRecently China's tourism has made a rapid progress. However, under theguide of the notions such as "no smoke industry ", "low devotion, high output","non-exhaustible consumption" many people are eager for quick success andinstant benefit. They simplify the development of tourism as amount increaseand extensive expands reproduction, which leads to predacity exploitation ofthe tourism resources, the extensive management of tourism region, themorbid inflation of tourism facilities, etc. These things lead to a series ofquestions such as the destroy of scenes, the deterioration of environment, theloss of resources' aesthetic value. All these questions affect the sustainabledevelopment of tourism directly."Tourism is a resource industry, a industry which depends on naturalendowment and social bequeath "(Murphy, 1985),so it is necessary to studythe course of tourism resources' development. It is necessary scientificevaluation and macroscopical management in order to realize the sustainable`Iutilization of tourism resources after building an evaluation index system.Jinan is a famous cultural city with long history in China. It is a centeron "Jinan-Taian-Qufu" tourist route, a hygiene city as well. Jinan is one ofexcellent tourist cities evaluated by State Tourist Bureau in 1998. ChoosingJinan as a case to evaluate the sustainable utilization of the region touristresource, it helps to open out the intrinstic law of the sustainable utilization ofthe tourism resources and evaluation mechanism. It also helps to realize thesustainable utilization of the Jinan. tourism resources.This thesis includes a preface and five sections.In the preface of this thesis, the writing aim and studying significancewere explained briefly.In the first section, the sustainable utilization of the tourism resources isdiscussed. Giving a review on the idea and development history of thesustainable development and the sustainable tourism development, the thesisputs forward the conception, connotation and conceptual model of thesustainable utilization of the tourism resources.Evaluation index system of the sustainable utilization of the tourismresource is built in the second section. After discussing the principles and themethods of construction index system, the thesis builds an index systemincluding resource pressure system, resource utilization system andmanagement system.The third section gives quantitative evaluation means. In order to reflectthe contribution of every index to system, the thesis adopts many evaluationmethods, namely, virtue-function, IAHP, harmony-function.In the fourth section, evaluation database of the sustainable utilization ofthe tourism resources is built. The evaluation database of the sustainableutilization of the tourism resources includes three databases: upper limit valuedatabase (ideal value database), fact value database, lower limit valuedatabase.In the fifth section, the sustainable utilization of the Jinan tourismIllresources is evaluated. Basing on actual investigation and data inquisition, thethesis evaluates the every system of the situation of Jinan tourism resourcesutilization and synthetical situation. The main problems and the measures ofJinan tourism resources sustainable utilization were put forward.
