Accession To The Wto, Nanjing Rural Industrial Structure Optimization Study

To be the deep issue in the adjustment of rural economic structure the optimizing of rural IS aims at the development of each rural industries, and coordinating the pace of adjustment of both industrial and economic structure, achieved through bringing about the rationalization and advancement of rural IS, and promoting the polymerization and the capacity of changing and upgrading of IS, so as to give an impetus to economic development. The author made an effort to probe into this issue. The content of study involves: combining the optimizing of rural IS with the dynamic evolving law of industry and its structure; choosing rural area of Nanjing, an opening coastal city in eastern China, as analysis region; using related theories of changing and adjustment of IS for reference; adhering to the basic principle of the optimizing of IS; surveying and calculating a series of indexes to measure the characteristics of rural IS and the condition of the optimizing of rural IS of Nanjing; putting forward the model and the direction of optimizing rural IS of Nanjing in the light of the macroeconomic circumstances of entering WTO; according to that suggesting some policy proposals.The study framework includes four chapters:Chapter one is the qualitative analysis~ which divided the rural IS scientifically and specifically, defined the optimizing of rural IS and its two basic points~ set forth dynamic evolving law of IS, put forward the main principle and the optimizing model of IS.Chapter two is empirical analysis, which surveyed and calculated a series of indexes (the structure of output value and labor force of each industries, location quotients relativity coefficient of IS, comparative labor productivity and comparative advantage of industries etc.), so as to analyze the characteristics of rural IS and the status quo of optimizing of IS in Nanjing rural areaChapter three is practice exploration, which inspected the influences on the development of industry and the optimizing of IS coming of entering WTO, put forward the optimizing model and direction of IS in Nai~jing rural area.Chapter four is policy proposals which analyzed the functions of government in the optimizing of IS, suggested some policy proposals on investment, technology, movement of labor and trade fitting in with the direction of the optimizing of IS in Nanjing rural area...
