| This paper focuses on a strategic study on the project development in th& I3eijing Central Business District (CBD for short), based upon the Wandong Plaza Project located within the central part of Beijing CBD as a case for illustration purpc抯e. in this paper, the author conducts a systematic exploratory research on the project development strategies from the perspectives of analysis, selection, and implementation of strategies using strategic theories and methods on environmental influences and resources. With the method of SWOT( Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis, the author constructs different conditional scenarios, and works out strategic plans by combining the land host enterprise抯 strengths and the environmental opportunities. Primary evaluation of the strategic plans is performed including the tests of suitability, feasibility md acceptability. Furthermore, a detailed discussion re~,arding management md resource configuration in the implementation process of strategic plars is provided in this paper, together with relevant suggestions to the project development strategic management. it is expected that this strategic study will benefit the enterprise involved in the Wandong Plaza Project in enhancing ItS core competitiveness and in maintaining its competitive advantage. Moreover, it is hoped that this study facilitates enterprises wishing to participate in the construction and development of the Beijirg CBD areas. |
