COSCO is the biggest ocean shipping corporation of China and a transnational , trans-region and trans-industry conglomerate. It is also one of the world's biggest ocean shipping corporations. For the aim of reaching and strengthening the status of global carrier, COSCO has paid high attention to increasing the overseas investment in recent years. Now the good inside and outside market environment brings COSCO development opportunity of the overseas investment. So on the basis of the recent transnational operating situation of our country and COSCQ, this paper analyzes the development process of CQSCO holding (Singapore) Co. Ltd., and puts forward COSCQ's overseas investment expanding strategies in the new situation. This paper includes three parts: Firstly, it analyzes the transnational operating process of COSCO. So we can get the recent existing problem and the way of further development. Secondly, it gives the demonstration of the necessity of COSCO's transnational operating from the two sides of theory and positive. At last ,on the basis of the above-mentioned ,it makes t~ transnational operating strategies.
