Renewable Energy Development In Hunan Province

If the mode of energy consumption is still kept, the stresses of resource and environment cannot be endured in Hunan Province, Where Conventional energy resources is short and Coal is the dominant energy. The reserves of renewable energy source are richness in Hunan Province. If renewable energy source can be utilized reasonably, the consumption of energy will step into road of Sustainable development, then the structure of energy consumption will be changed and the pollution of environment will be improved. In order to hannonize the development of economy, society, resource and environment, distribution and exploitative status of renewable energy source in Hunan was described in this paper. At the same time, the position and function of exploitation of renewable energy source in sustainable development of Hunan economy was demonstrated, main limiting factors of exploitation of renewable energy source were analyzed. Based on the above, policy, measure and advice of accelerating exploitation of Hunan renewable energy source were put forward.
