This thesis is about the growth strategies of Beijing Aijia Domestic Textile Company (BADTC), a typical state-owned enterprise.The first part of the thesis talks about the background, the internal organizations and the financial condition of BADTC as well.The second part analyzes the external macro-environment, micro-environment and internal conditions of the company. Macro-environment includes the political environment, economic environment, natural environment, cultural environment and so on. While talking about micro-environment, I touch upon the textile industry growth rate, market structure and competitors, divestment barriers, threats from new-comers, customers' bargaining power and the relationship between BADTC and media as well. While talking about the internal condition analysis, I touch upon the operational capability, financing power, marketing power, managerial team and the quality of the staff. Besides, the impact of china's accession to World Trade Organization (WTO) is also discussed in this part.In the third part, the thesis talks about the strengths, the weaknesses, the possible opportunities for BADTC and the threats the company will probably face. To overcome the difficulties and realize growth, BADTC has taken some growth strategies. For example, it moved from midtown to suburb, purchased advanced equipments and eliminated out-of-date fixtures, adopted diversified products strategy in marketing, established and optimized modern enterprise system, regulated internal organization structure, cultivated core competency. The thesis aims to provide the company with a relatively systematic solution.The last part shows the difficulties and obstacles BADTC may confront in implementing strategies. As BADTC strives to expand its market share, to improve the efficiency of its management and to strengthen its core competency, it will win competitive advantage in the fierce competition.
