In this paper, starting from the analysis on the core capability, key factors for its success as well as the parenting features of an excellent listed company -Kingdream Public Limited Company (KPLC), the necessity, importance and feasibility of the diversified business strategy on the basis of its core capability of the company are positively studied. Short, medium and long term targets for diversified business are proposed, and approaches, opportunities & rhythm, strategic actualizing measures as well as other related matters for the company to realize diversified business are discussed. Meanwhile, ten candidate projects are suggested for the company's top management to consider and hopefully to promote the healthy and fast development of the compam'. The paper concluded that it's the best time for KPLC to implement diversified business strategy and it should be implemented orderly and gradually. Firstly, intensive and scaled growth should be obtained, i.e. to ensure the intensive enlargement of funds and sales volume in case when the organizational scale is relatively stable or even reduced, improving the strength & intensity of the industrial resources, cultivating core stability of the company, and launching market related diversified business. Technology relateddiversified business can be launched after the economy developed and the enterprise grown up to certain extent. Developing into irrelative fields can then be considered in the future after the enterprise is further enlarged. Adopting diversified business strategy is the only way for KPLC to suit the new developing situation and to satisfy the social public's increasing demand to the growth of the listed company.
