With the approach of knowledge-based,hightechnology oriented economic era,there stand the problems of humanistic values this study systematically probes into the preliminary concept,contents,phenomena and trends of development At the same time connects it with the challenge with which China is confronted,the study can be divided into four parts .1 Investigate the cognitive defects of different ideas held by western and Chinese people,redefine the concept of the values of humanistic elements by applying the comprehensive development of human beings by marxism. Dialectically explain the significance of the values of humanistic elements in science.in the perspective of combining technology,economics and spiritual values of science togather.2 Survey the historical and current realization of the values of humanistic elements of science to human beings,and point out the problems that appear .survey the main causes that lead to non-complete realization of humanistic value,and propect the promising future of complete realization.3 Investigate the material and economical humanistic significance of modern science and technology,especially high technology. Make clear that modern science and technology are the source of "evolution of knowledge "and knowledge economy,knowledge era or knowledge society are humanistic economy ,humanistic era and humanistic society.4 Spiritually expound the humanistic significance of scientific values and analyse the relationship of scientific spirits and humanistic spirits,confirm that scientific spirit is a branch of humanistic spirits and analyse the status quo ofchina and establish that humanistic spirit including scientific spirit must be encouraged in order to welcome the approach of the knowledge economy.
