Challenges Faced By The Farmers' Ideological And Political Work Of The New Century Opportunities ¡¤ Countermeasures

Peasants' problem is always the chief problem throughout China's revolution and construction .It is the most difficult problem which handicaps China to realize the modernization and attain the aim of a relatively comfortable life. In the period of social transition ,especially at nowadays when China has joined the WTO ,Chinese peasants will have to face up to more rigorous tests. There will be many new problems and new situations in the actual life of the countryside .Which urgently need ideological and political work to remove doubts, straighten out moodiness and curdle public feelings. Therefore ,to enhance the research force to peasants' problem, especially to enhance the research force to peasants' ideological and political education, will help us to pay more attention to them and rely more on them in the process of building socialism of Chinese characteristics. In this way , we can make a solid foundation for smoothly achieving the strategic aim that goes beyond the century. My article will start with the problem in the new era that exist in peasants' ideological and moral concept. It will also analyze the coexistence situation of challenges and opportunities in peasants' education on ideology and politics, and it will try to seek for new ways for peasants' ideological and political education.Objective changes and subjective ignorance for peasants' ideological and political education have led to peasants' poor political awareness in ideological ethics in the transition period. The situation in which peasants are of low education quality and of unbalanced state of mind is incompatible with the agricultural modernization. No doubt, the work of peasants' ideological and political education is facing great challenges. We should also see that ,at the same time, to lay stress on peasants' ideological and political education is the political advantage and good tradition of the Communist Party of China .The attention to ideological and political work of our party's third generation leading group, the guidance of "three representatives" and the glorious achievements during the 20 years of reform and opening up especially the constant improvement of peasants' individual qualities . All offer us perfect opportunities to strength the educational work on peasants' ideology and politics in the new ear . Of course , in the new era ,confronting the new circumstances , new conditions , we should stress the main points , the points of the time and the key points on educational contents . We should also adopt the effective methods such as instillation , self-education and preventive education . Meanwhile , we must perfect the system of organizations , particularly , reinforce the construction of the grassroots organizations, so that we can provide a guarantee for the work of peasants' ideological and political education in the new era...
