To speed up the reform of compensation systems is one of the key tasks of the technological enterprises during the process of transforming from scientific and research institutes. The general goal of the reform is to build modern compensation systems in accordance with the modern corporate systems and characters of technological enterprises.Annual salary system applies to senior managers is to define their compensations as one year for a period and pay according to their merits. To ordinary employees, position-based salary system is adoptable, which means that how much one earns would depend on which position he engaged in. Technological work is independent. Thus more flexible measures should be effective. Additionally, stock-based incentives, including stock options, should be introduced to key employees if state policies permitted.Systems of job evaluations, merits assessment, on-job-training, and so on, which are indispensable aspects of systematic human resource management, should keep in paces of the reform of compensation systems.
