Great powers' relations dominate international situation, and the comparison of great powers meanwhile determines the great powers' relations. So as long as probing into the development tides of the international situation, we must research the power development of world primate countries especially in the special time. In modern times, European and other countries became the world great powers by means of the development of new power elements, and the development transform. The up and down of great powers have been shown the imbalance principle of primate countries' power development that has been acknowledged by experts. However, the description of the principle has long time been emphasized on the phenomenon and configuration, not on the internal mechanism. Therefore, the dissertation pays much attention to the principle essence to form the system about the principle imbalance of world primate countries, to provide the theory model on researching, analyzing, and holding international power comparison, which has the significant indications to countries' development strategy.The dissertation includes three parts. The first part consciously orients the basic conception of the country power, and world primate countries' power elements. The second part focuses on the imbalance principle. The last part further discusses the imbalance principle and national development strategy.History has been shown that the imbalance principle of world great countries' power development is objective and well-principled phenomenon, since the science and technology revolution and industry revolution happened in modern history. Countries' power development and competitiveness just are like surf riding that fluctuates the wave, not only full of chances and dangers but courage, judgments, and abilities. If only keeping pace with times, being brave to reform, and carrying out ceaseless innovation, country power can increasingly flourish in the valuable development chances. Or else, though being faced with chances, it may still lose the development by reason of lacking effective measures, which results to forever sadness and regret. In short, sincerely hope our country intelligent and to be the civilized great power especially in the new science and technology revolution and globalization era.
