Times New Material Company Is A Diversified Investment Strategy Research

TMT (ZHUZHOU TIMES NEW MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD) mainly deals in macromolecule material. It is R&D or manufacture base of macromolecule elastic component element in the railway traffic equipment industry of the whole nation. TMT mainly centralizes its operation on railway traffic industry, which makes it face the risk of single market. At the same time, governable capital increase leads to the outstretched demand. Therefore, it is the desiderate problem to be solved that studying out a developing strategy for TMT and make it realize diversification management trough investment, so as to develop moderately and rapidly. Combining the working experience engaging in investment management in the investment department of TMT Company, the author makes a study on the instituting and executing process of TMT Company's investment strategy.This paper emphasizes on applying economy management theory to solve actual problem in enterprises. Through analyzing the basic situation, outside macro circumstance and industry circumstance, and then studying the general investment opportunities, the author has illustrated that TMT total strategy on diversified development is realistic and reasonable with SWOT model; clarified that market investment chances lie in the extending of enterprise's core competence on the basis of strategy asset and the structure's reconstruction of production matrix through analyzing industry structure with BCG matrix; defmitude the path choice of TMT investment strategy. In the last part of this paper, the author selects four representative cases: investing technology center, investing air spring, annexing Plastic Company and buying Insulated Company to analyze the investment decision, executing proceed and the realization of investment strategy. The author make a whole study on the case that how does enterprise realize relative diversification development by investment.
