The Industrialization Of Agriculture And Rural Urbanization Research

With the development of urban and rural economy,there has been a great increase in the amount of small-town. Urbanization has entered upon a new phase of accelerated growth and the research and practice on urbanization in rural area is increasingly paid close attention to. 'Among the researches on dynamic mechanism of urbanization in rural area,the ones on the relationship between agricultural industrialization and urbanization are relatively lagging. Urbanization in rural area is not combined with agricultural industrialization in practice,so agricultural surplus labor force can only transfer in industrial circles and can' t in space. Thus the level of urbanization in rural area doesn' t synchronize with the development of agricultural industrialization. Taking Yantai City for example,this thesis analyses the relativity between agricultural industrialization and urbanization with the purpose to explore the key motive power of promoting the sustained growth of urbanization in rural area in developed and backward areas with agricultural resources as the dominant factor. Countermeasures are thus suggested about the existing problems in the interaction of agricultural industrialization and urbanization to promote the favorable development of them.There are four parts in this paper as the following:1. The effect of agricultural industrialization on the development of urbanization in rural areaFrom the investigation of the three aspects:productive base of agricultural products,enterprises engaged in processing agricultural products and agricultural products market and organization of cooperative economy,Such following conclusions have been reached. A large number of rural surplus labor force can be saved from the building of agricultural product base and they can work in the enterprises engaged in processing agricultural products and markets. The development of the third industry can promote the prosperity of small- town .So agricultural industrialization is of great benefit to the urbanization in rural area and it guarantees the industry conversion and space transfer of rural surplus labor force.2.The effect of urbanization in rural area on the development of agricultural industrialization.Urbanization contributes to the rational distribution of leading enterprises,better economic results and more favorable development and accordingly prospers agricultural product market and promotes the development of the third industry.3.The positive analysis of agricultural industrialization and urbanization in rural area. This part expounds the close relationship between agricultural industrialization and urbanization in rural area of Yantai city through the analysis of stages of development of small-town and its Characteristics and the Characteristics of functional structure,scale structure and space structure after reform and open. It is believed that in the future this relationship will be closer.4. Countermeasures of speeding up the development of urbanization in rural area of Yantai City.This part first forecasts the level of urbanization of Yantai City in 2010 by means of converting surplus labor force. Then it brings forward specific countermeasures to the existing problems of urbanization. Those include:Laying solid foundation for urbanization in rural area by promoting strategic adjustment of agriculture and rural economic patterns. Combining the industrial development of small-town with agricultural integration and making it closely connected with agriculture.
