Primary Discussion On Enterprise Information

Accompanying the coming era of the information economy and the further expediting of economic globalization process, the tide of information is engulfing the entire world and the level of enterprise information has become vital in judging the actual strength of a country or an area. Hence the task of fulfilling enterprise information, upgrading enterprise's core competition, accelerating the fast and continuous development of national economy is the most urgent one we are facing. Starting with introducing the significance of enterprise information and the further illustration of it from economic aspect, the thesis analyses the present situation and existing problems of enterprise information in China, and brings forward the author's opinion on how to intensify the construction of enterprise information in China.This thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part, the author briefly states the significance, developing steps, systematic modes and functions of enterprise information. Since the background of enterprise information's construction in China is different from that in the developed countries, so we should advance our own plan and mode instead of imitating others. In the second part, the author analyses the attributions of commodity and the essential factor of productive forces. The information management software is entirely a commodity if an enterprise fulfills its information construction by purchasing it from the market. And when an enterprise adopts informationtechnology to guild the productive process, the investment on information here is a key factor of productive force as land and labor do. In the third part, the author lays emphasis on the analysis of the present situation and major existing problems in constructing enterprise information in China. The application of computer and internet technology in Chinese enterprise management has gone through a process from nil to existence and from simplification to complication. So far we have made some achievements but there are still some problems: the infrastructure of information industry is weak; the environment of market and necessary system are still not completed; people's sense of information is poor and the standard of enterprise information is low, etc. In the fourth part, the author points out that construction of enterprise information is a complicated social project , and then he brings forward some countermeasures and suggestions on it. First of all, the government should highlight the construction of infrastructure and system. Second, the enterprises need to be initiative and creative in this process. Finally, the software merchant and consultant ought to be collaborate tightly with enterprises and help them to fulfill their goal.
