This article ,based on behavior ,analyzes the corrupt behavior in current China by using the combined method of philosopl, politics, economics, sociology and psychology. The author thinks that from the ontological view-point corruption is such behavior as driven by the greedy motive to satisfy negative needs of those who hold the public power and to damage the rule of the ruling class. In China what corruption hurts is the socialist regime, thereby being exceedingly harmful to society. Corruption consists of subject, subjective mental mechanisrm external indication and object. The causes of corruption in transitional China are varied. Firstly, economic elements have been made varied and beneficial subject has become many-faceted in the economic field; secondly, the supervision on public authority is weak in the political system; thirdly, the elements of social structure are in different developing rates; fourthly, the negative influence of the non-socialist part of the ideological structure; fifthly, the relativity of human freedom and the duality of human nature. In order to combat corruption effectively in transitional China, strategies of four thrones should be taken, that is, first of all, set up three-level educational system to strengthen political education; next, set up double anti-corruption system through improving the legal system; thirdly, supervision should be strengthened in four different directions: the Chinese Communist Party, the state organs, the democratic parties and the masses; lastly, controlling corruption through institutional innovations is the best choice.
