The Development Of Jiang Zemin To The Theory Of Communist Culture

At the beginning of the new century, with the party's leading the whole country toward a better society, it has the academic and practical significance to improve the party members' overall competencies for the individuals, for the whole party to maintain the leading position in thoughts, politics and organization, and for the implement of the "three represents" theory. Analyzing the necessity and importance in the new era for the party members' improvement, this thesis discussed the inner link between the "Three represents theory" by Jiang Zemin and the party members' improvement, in an effort to try to come up with essential strategies for the party members' improvement by examining all the aspects of proposed problem. The purpose of analyzing the necessity was to highlight the significance of the improvement, which includes: the demand for insisting on and consolidate the party's ruling position; the demand for leading the people to realize the goal of a middle-class dominated society; the demand for replying to the challenge of the reform and open-up; the demand of the age in regard to the development of information technology; the demand for improving the whole quality of the party members.Based on the Study of the inner link between" three represents theory" and the party members' improvement, it was made clear that "three represents" is the theoretical instruction, the fundamental content, the pathway and the target. Thus the "three represents" proved to be the essential content and powerful weapon of thoughts for the party members' improvement in this new era.The connotation of the party members' improvement is a theme advancing with the time. With the guidance of the "three represents" in the new era the party members' improvementincluded six aspects: the improvement of morality; improvement of discipline with the party; improvement of political ruling awareness; improvement of knowledge of Marxism; improvement of scientific and technological literacy; practice the party members' improvement.
