It's a fundamental task for the research of how to combine Marxism better with Chinese concrete practice to investigate the propagation of Marxism in China. And it is not a kind of simple feelings of seeking roots to explorer the source of culture, but a attempt to open up a path for the future. This article tries to analyze the first generation studying in Russia and their success and failures to propagate Marxism and Russia's practicing experiences of socialist revolution and construction, and expects to draw some beneficial conclusions.This article I divided into three parts. The first part analyzes the reasons that Leninism attracted Chinese advanced elements, indicating that it's Russia's example and its domestic and foreign policies what make Chinese advanced elements took Russia's road, and that that Leninism agree with Chinese traditional culture made Marxism easy to root in China. The second part analyzes some individuals studying in Russia and illustrates theircontribution to propagate Marxism, indicating that the y introduced and explained Marxist thoughts about violent revolution, proletariat hegemony, peasants and foundation of communist Part and Youth League and found the guiding ideology for Chinese revolution in time. The third part analyzes the influences of the movement of studying in Russia to the propagation of Marxism in China indicating that the students studying in Russia propagated Marxism most normatively and synthetically, which not only accelerated the process for Chinese to understand and accept Marxism but also promoted Marxism to combine with Chinese labor movements. In the third part it's also pointed out that owing to the limitations of historical conditions the students studying in Russia had some limitations inevitably during the propagation of Marxism.
