It is well known that the competition of hospitality is reduced to talent competition. As the earliest opened industry, hotel industry possess an army of well-exerienced and qualified personnel with advanced management idea. However, rising voice of building professional manager team and the implementation of related principles which is disappointedly dismanipulatible can not fill the gap of fostering professionalized personnel between China and the western countries.This thesis advocates whole-member professionalization by analysing the existing state of hotel human resource and introducing theories of professionalization management,and also probes system construction frameworks. Meantime the author creatively contends that system construction should be based on cultural and social environment, combining the professionalization management and career management.The thesis presents the argument which are supported by the principles of management and sociology from the view of human resource and features of hotel training.There are seven sections. The first chapter brings forward preference, innovation, research method and views. The second chapter, theory preparation, introduces the theory of career and career management, and professionalization and professionalization management, this chapter also discusses the possibility and necessity of integration of professionalization management and career management. The third chapter, according to the achievements and problems in this industry, shows the existing state of human resource and professionalization management. In the forth chapter, it is argued that professionalization management in hospitality is an inevitable trend. The fifth chapter, the main section, discusses key steps in hotel system construction of professionalization management, especially mentioningdevelopment of professionalization standard , improvement and evaluation of profesionalization. The sixth chapter culturally and socially ponders over professionalization management, emphasising on macroscopical understanding instead of on microscopical construction of hotel culture. The seventh chapter, the last one, is the conclusion.This thesis just gave a rudimentary image of hotel professionalization and career, leaving much positive research to do. The author will make contribution to the theory and practice ,and further studying in this field.
