Explore The Situation And Development Of The Ethnic Problems In Xinjiang

Xinjiang is an autonomous region where many minority nationalities live, ethnic problem not only exist objectively, but also became a important factor which is restraining economic and social development in xinjiang.This paper focuses on the reality and countermeasure of the ethnic problem in xinjiang. The paper consist of five parts, the first three parts emphasize on anglicizing the ethnic problem situation in xinjiang since the reforming and opening, especial since the eighties of 20 century, based on this, the latter two parts anticipate the develop trend of ethnic problem and put forward the countermeasures and suggestion.This paper think the ethnic problem in xinjiang has different manifestations, involves political, economy, culture and social fields. The reason also comprise many factors , including the external, the internal; the political, the economic and cultural; the historical, the realistic, these factors cause ethnic problem sometimes singly, sometimes together. With the change of time and space, the ethnic problem in xinjiang is changing, affection is more far-reaching, and the ethnic problem is presenting the comprehensive, complex, different, sensitive, emergent characteristics. Considering the theory of the ethnic problem development and the situation of xinjiang development, the basic content and attribute of thexinjiang ethnic problem will not change evidently, the ethnic problem will lessen step by step, of course, some ethnic problem perhaps increase in part area in some stage, but it is not universal phenomenon. The ethnic problem in xinjiang is a complicated collective, we must have a scientific and accurate understanding, not only considering all problem as "ethnic problem", but also ignoring the exist of the ethnic problem because of its sensitivity and specialty, or considering it as the general social problem. When dealing with the ethnic problem, right policy and principle is necessary, only taking effective and different measure can resolve the ethnic problem in xinjiang from appearance to foundation.
