Since China entered WTO, the motor spare parts industry has been facing a lot of chal lenges, at the same time, there also exists a great chance. In the coming five years, China' s policies are still offering some support and defense of the interests of the industry, but five years later, the market wi11 be fully opened. lluaGuang Motor Factory, a spare-part supplier of Dalian Diesel engine factory of No. 1 motor factory, wants to become A strategic co-operation companion with Diesel engine factory, and needs a urgent reform of its business management in order to meet the needs of situation and enhance the management level and its compelitiveness.Rased on the strategic management,JIT and total quality management as well as the theory of BPR, the enterprise makes great improvements through reengineering its original business processes in the main targets such as the whole profit level, productive efficiency, customers satisfaction rate, etc.these greatly improving its competition advantage.There are five parts in the thesis. Part 1 is Preface, introducing the general situation of HuaGuang Motor factory. Part II introduces the background of BPR of lluaduang Motor Factory, and expounding the necessity of BPR by analyzing the inside and outside enviroments of the factory. Part III discusses the theory and method of BPR in order to set up a theoretic basis for BPR. Part TV analyses the business processes of lluaGuang Motor factory and gives a redesign plan. Part V is providing some measures to guarantee the smoothly implementation of the BPR.This thesis is based on a research of the lluaGuang Motor Factory. It puts forward a solution by using BPR theory in according with the current situation of the factory. 1 real izes deepl y that the combinations of BPR with the enterprise practice is vital to the development of the enterprise.
