The Cultural Background Of Economic Development

Economy and culture are the two elemental factors in a society, each nation can not discard them to get its development. And the people, who are all expect the two factors would match each other in the procedure of developing of the society,but they often give the reverse result,which contradict with people's hopes:the longer of a nation's culture, the slower of its economic development speed.The young nations are always the front-runners in the race of economic development.The People's Republic of China and the Unite States are the example.After the Policy of Reforming and Openning been carried out,China has got vast success in economy. But it has also take a resistance in the development of cultrue.And it is my thesis aim to how to deal with the relation between the two factors.The relation between economy and culture has been deeply studied by many scholars. I pay more attentions on the effect of economy caused by culture.(which the others pay more attentions on the revers effect). In this thesis, I take the theory of Marx's philosophy as a tool to analyse the deep reasons how the culture effect the economy, and draw the conclutions as follow:Firstly, the economy and culture has a immanent relation in the procedure of the society's developing, they will effect each other in any time. Though, the attribute of culture is formed based on the society's economy, it can effect economy deeple inverse.secondly, let's focus on the period before the Policy of Reforming and Openning had been carried out. In modern society, China was lag behind the developed countries, the reasons is mat the society's institution and the culture are not fit the developed world.For rejuvenating the Chinese nation,we should modernize the traditional culture,and should adjust the direction of cultural developing.use the doctrine of Marxism slick.Thirdly, after the Policy of Reforming and Openning been carried out, we have got vast success in economy, and it has taken many problems in culture also. These problems has delayed the speed of economic developing. In order to change the phenomenon, we should accord Mr. Jiang Zeming's speech"on the three duties of the Chinese Communist Party". Strengthen the constrction of advanced culture to deal with the problems brought by the economic developing.
