With the deepeness of housing system reform, developing housing finance is becoming imperative in our country. Housing finance has a history of several hundred years, and these countries have set up a good housing finance system. In the same time, it develops the economy in these countries. But it began to develop within two decades in our country after the reforming of housing system. Especial after 1998, we stopped dispensing the house in object and turned to dispense the house in the currency. Housing finance in our country entered into a fast growth period; meanwhile, it encountered many obstacles. Now, the housing industry has become a pillar industry in our country. If we obtained favorable enlighteness from the comparison of the development of housing finance abroad, we will get forward-advantages and it will make progress in the housing finance, in the housing industry and in economy.This thesis includes four parts. The first chapter reviews the development of housing finance in the word and our country and points out the meaning of further development of housing finance. The second chapter mainly compares the housing mortgage loan, insurance, securitilization, housing finance institutions and housing financial policy etc. The third chapter analyses the restraints of the development of housing finance in our country from the aspects of vagueness of housing property, imperfects of system of housing mortgage loan security and insurance, the simpliness of housing financing system and weakness of housing finance institutions' innovation etc. The last chapter puts forward relative methods to enhance the development of our country' s housing finance.
