Foreign trade is a significant impetus for economic growth. Export constitutes the foundation of foreign trade, and its development has a direct impact upon national economic growth. Ever since the reform and opening-up, China's export has witnessed a rapid development.The United States ranks as the No.1 economic power in today's world, and it is one of the countries which have the closest economic ties with China. From the closest economic connection channel between China and the United States, namely, bilateral trade, this thesis conducts a specific analysis of the impact upon China's economic growth by export to the United States. Thereby, the author brings forward a series of feasible policy advice for further developing China's export to the U.S.The thesis consists of four parts:First, an introduction of Sino-U.S. trade, including the history of the bilateral trade, the positive factors and negative factors affecting Sino-U.S. trade development, the prospect of Sino-U.S. trade.Second, an introduction and analysis of the theories of export's impact upon economic growth, together with relevant historical facts validation.Third, an analysis of export to the U.S.' impact upon China's economic growth, and the major factors counteracting China's export to the U.S., which provide the realistic basis for the ensuing police advice.Fourth, a series of police advice for further developing China's export to the United States, including altering the improvement trade export mode, facilitating the upgrading of industrial structure, optimizing the structure of exports, consummating policies encouraging export, decreasing U.S. trade deficit to China, actively replying to U.S. trade protectionism, and implementing a diversification strategy of export markets.
