Integration Of Corba-based Distributed Workflow Management System

The distributed workflow engine is the strategy for improving the whole capability of workflow management system. The architecture of distributed workflow management becomes more reasonable and the capability for reliability , expansibility and security are improved by it. Now many distributed workflow management systems are constructed upon the rock-bottom communication architecture that is distributed and heterogeneous, CORBA distributed object technology can resolve the problem for adapting the different network platform and integrating the heterogeneous system. A CORBA-based distributed workflow management system integration resolving scheme is put forward in this paper.The distributed workflow management system is integrated based three levels that workflow system architecture, distribution of workflow engines and distribution of workflow models; CORBA-based distributed workflow management system integration function model is put forward; The conception of CORBA soft bus is put forward, the rock-bottom communication architecture is constructed based CORBA, it includes the CORBA Notification Service-based message transferring mechanism and the CORBA Naming Service-based distributed object invocation mechanism; A series of measures are put forward to ensure the reliability and expansibility of the distributed system, CORBA-based security ensuring system architecture is also put forward in this paper.Finally, in this paper the applications of CORBA-based distributed workflow management system are researched, the applications of distributed workflow management system in the constructions for parallel connections examining and approving system are researched. The parallel connections examining and approving system function model based distributed workflow management system is put forward. Now workflow management system is used universally in the distributed enterprise operation processing systems and distributed E-Government systems. Therefore the CORBA-based distributed workflow management system integration resolving scheme put forward in this paper has a universal application value.
