Node-based Workflow Management Technology Research And System

This paper puts forward the workflow management model on the basis of nodes, after researching in the actuality and the trend of workflow management around the world, analyzing the mode of workflow management in enterprises, and making the characteristics of CE into account. The model can solve the problems, which exist in the workflow management of the design of product. Then, after exploring the key technique about the model, this paper puts forward corresponding settlements.Using the results got from the research in the workflow management model on the basis of nodes, the paper designs the prototype system, which is named YH-WFM. The work includes the design and the realization of the database, the visual tool module, the project management module and the workflow management engine module.By integrating the prototype system into PDM system, the paper examines the application of the workflow management model on the basis of nodes, and gets some favorable results.At last, after the research in the actuality of workflow management, the paper puts forward some methods, such as improving the flexibility of system and using dynamic workflow running rule, to improve on the capability of the prototype system.
