The thesis makes an analysis of the current tourism attraction management models in China based on the comparison and contrast of the five management models, namely the management model of Bifengxia tourism attraction, the management model of Mount Huang in Anhui province, the management model of Fuchunjiang tourism attraction in Zhejiang province, the management model of Jingyuetan tourism attraction in Changchun city and the management model of Shaan'xi Tourism Group Co. Ltd. It focuses on the existing problems of disordered managing subjects and the inadequate developing potentiality of tourism attractions in China. Last but not least, the thesis promotes a thought of classified management with the management experience of tourism attractions in America and Britain.The thesis studies the management models of tourism attractions with the technical approach of case study. It lays emphasis on the comparative and contrastive study of the management models about the tourism attractions. The difficult point studied in the thesis lies in the raising of an optimal solution as a result of the comparative study of difference models.The novelties of the thesis are as the following: Firstly, it makes a systematic study of the current management models of tourism attractions in China with the approach of case study. Secondly, It has an enlarged vision and an insightful perspective of the study on management models. Different fields of research are involved such as government economics, environment and natural resources economics, tourism economics, administrative science, etc. Finally, it puts forward a novel approach of evaluating the resources of a tourism attraction with the help of calculus model of tourism expense on unitary functional tourism attraction.
