With the development of agriculture and agricultural economic since 1978, fanner's income in Henan Province has increased constantly. But, compared with citizen, farmer's income's increasing pace has been slowed down. This has a negative effect on the province's farther development and the perfect of market economy. So, how to increase farmer's income is an important topic both of theoretical and practical importance.The paper is based on the study of famer's pure income of Henan Province since 1978, especially from 1990, and is purposed to discuss how to increase their income. So, the paper begins with the analysis of the historic evolvement and influencing factors of famer's pure income of Henan Province, and summarizes its basic characteristics and those factors that prevent the income from increasing quickly. At last the paper suggests that some policies should be adopted to solve this problem.The paper is consisted of 4 parts:In the first part, the paper shows mostly its researchful reason, thinking and method, and summarizes its correlative research internally and overseas.In the second part, the paper analyses concisely variational trend of farmer's income in Henan Province above all by utilizeing time series method, and decompoundes its periodic factors, on which we process phase partition; Nextly the paper compares increasing rate of farmer's income income in Henan Province with increasing rate of townsman's income in Henan Province; Then the paper analyses income difference by calculating Gini coefficient; finally, the paper analyses farmer's income in Henan Province income structure .In the third part, firstly, the paper analyses direct and deep-rooted factors that affect farmer's income by using of abundant statistical data, and draws some conclusions as follows: direct causes include supply -demand structural contradiction, low agricultural productivity, high farmer burden, lesser investment, tardy improvement on no-agricultural income, dispersive production, and so on; deep-rooted causes include reasonless planting industry inner structure, dualistic economic structure, country management system, and so on.At the last part, the paper put forward some suggestion on how to improve farmer income.
