Agricultural Cooperation Between Fujian-Taiwan And Increasing Fujian Farmer's Income

Recently there are two characters of fanner's income in our country: farmer's income is increasing slowly; the gap between townsman' income and farmer's income is enlarging. It affects not only agriculture development but also domestic demand and the whole society economy development. Thus, State Department publicized the policy about increasing farmer's income in February 2004. It emphasized that these problems of agriculture, rural, farmers were the most important.How to increasing farmer's income is discussed by many experts and scholars. They bring forward to all kinds of strategies. This thesis is on the base of expert' research and aim at making use of the advantage of geography and humanity in Fujian. I put forward to a strategy of increasing farmer's income that we must strengthen agricultural cooperation with Taiwan.In the thesis I summarize these theories about agricultural development and increasing farmer's income at first. Secondly, putting to use regression model research the factors of affecting Fujian farmer's income. Using quantitative analysis research the factors of affecting Taiwan agricultural development. The result indicates that Fujian-Taiwan agricultural recourse possesses complementary relation. So, Fujian-Taiwan agricultural cooperation may optimize resource allocation and speed agricultural development and increase farmer's income. Thirdly, probing into the effect that Fujian-Taiwan agricultural cooperation toward increasing Fujian farmer's income and finding out available approaches. Fourthly, taking the example of Zhangzhou's agriculture development I elaborate the effect of Fujian-Taiwan agricultural cooperation toward increasing Fujian fanner's income. Finally, the measures are proposed to further Fujian-Taiwan agricultural cooperation, which should be done by government and farmers.
