Surpassing strategy theory mainly studies the path selection and the law of the different types of junior countries how to pursue and eventually surpass developed countries. Junior countries regards the advanced countries and regions as their goal. And surpassing strategy is the overall vision and a comprehensive strategy on a country social and economic development to get rid of the backward situation of the countries on economy, politics, culture, the national quality and other various aspects.In a different country and different stages of development, surpassing strategy has different forms. Comparative study on "surpassing strategy" of the communist party of China in the new period has two-way effort:on the one hand, the surpassing strategy is investigated in the field of the new period of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics; On the other hand, through the comprehensive comparison of the horizontal and vertical, the history and reality to explore the achievements and problems of China surpassing strategy in the new period, thus this paper forms the following logical structure.I comb the academic main point, combine with existing academic understanding and the development of China’s reality, then sum up the connotation and denotation of surpassing strategy of our country in the new period, and on this basis, further analyze the overall framework of our country surpassing strategy during the new period.
