Mencius Political Thought

The political thought of the Mencius, which appeared in the social background of special prosperous of the thoughts and culture and the big changes of the time, developed the Confucius political thought in a way of "to be the wise man first and then to be the king". The systematical development of the Mencius of the Confucius political thought is mainly included in the Benevolent Government system."The Benevolent Government" thought reflected the political thinking of "put the moral and the politics together". As far as the time theme of the govern in the chaos and searching for unit in the departure was concerned, "the Benevolent Government" is somehow a bit "impractical"; as far as the whole process of the human political civilization was concerned, it is somehow "far away", because until now, the thought of Benevolent Government is still prosperous. Moreover, there are still some different interpretations about the exact meanings of Benevolent Government thought of Mencius, the own judgment is also made in this dissertation.
