Green Political Theory Research

Abstract: As a new political theory, green political theory puts concerns with nature and thought of environment into the degree of politics, which has a profound influence on main political theory. It challenges traditional anthropocentrism, explains the relationship between humanity and nature renewedly and canonizes ecocentric mode of thought. On the basis of pro-nature philosophy, a new and fancy political dissertation is formed. This text starts a kind of theoretical consideration on green politics, makes basic introduction and primary exploration on its philosophy foundation and political thought. The political theory comes into being that advocates nonviolence, social justice, grassroots democracy, deliberative democracy, decentralization and cooperation. Green political theory tries hard to break through the limitation of traditional political theory and emerges fire-new political method of thought.
