Sea-star Supermarket is one subsidiary company of Sea-star group. She is set up at December 1993 and is the first supermarket in the northwest area in China. In the early days, Sea-star Supermarket has become the leader of this trade at all times ,but now, she fall in crisis. This article mainly dips into the marketing strategy and wish to provide the instructions and references for the development of the company.This article discusses the selling strategy of Sea-star Supermarket based on a large amount of documents and materials with a combination of marketing theories utilizing macro scope and micro scope, qualitative and quantitative, progressively real case analysis methods. Firstly, it analyzes the current status of the market situation of Sea-star Supermarket, next, it has made an analysis from both outside and inside environment. According to above deep analysis, is article has presented a marketing strategy which is based on the principle as customer oriented, and created detail measures.With the coming of WTO, Sea-star Supermarket will face stronger international competitors. The most concerned question is to adapt the marketing strategy and maintain the leadership in the Xi'an retail trade. The features of is article are not only providing effective marketing strategy based on the attitude of finding problem and solving problem, but also presenting workable solutions and providing references to other companies.
